ABOUT
The Tilton-Northfield Recreation Council was formed in 1954 to serve the recreation needs of the towns of Tilton and Northfield. TNRC was founded on and continues to be committed to the idea of enriching our residents’ lives through recreation and social activities. At our facility the Pines Community Center, and throughout Tilton and Northfield, we strive to provide our communities with programs that are mentally, physically and socially challenging for all. We invite you to explore all we have to offer!
The day to day operations of the Pines Community Center are partially funded by monies voted by the towns of Tilton and Northfield at their annual Town Meetings. Each town provides 20% of our budget. The remaining 60% is raised through fees charged for participation in our programs, our fundraising efforts, and grants and donations. We are a non-profit 501 C3 organization.
The Council members, staff, and volunteers of the Pines are dedicated to the education, health and growth of all the members of our community, young and old alike.
