Summer Program

The Summer Playground Program will consist of 9 week long sessions. The Program will run Monday through Friday and will be a recreational day camp for children from Tilton and Northfield who have completed kindergarten through the age of twelve.

Camp is scheduled to run June 18-August 17, but the start date may change due to snow days.

Program Fees (for residents of Tilton/Northfield)

There is an additional $10.00 to be added to all fees for non-residents.

Registration Information

We will be registering a MAXIMUM of 120 children, and registrations are taken entirely on a first come first serve basis (open to residents of Tilton/Northfield first, and all others following the first week).

We will start accepting registrations beginning January 3, 2012. We suggest that parents start a payment plan program early as ALL camp fees are due no later than June 8th. There is a 10% discount if all fees are paid in full by May 4th. The last day to register children for summer camp is June 8th. Late registrations are subject to a $50.00 late fee, and registrants will be put on a waiting list.

8:30 am- 3:30 pm

Extended Hours

Extended care hours for camp are available for an additional cost. Morning extended care hours are from 7:00am to 8:30am and afternoon extended care hours are from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Extended care will only be available per one-week session. Parents are required to sign in their children on every Monday that begins a one-week session. They must also sign them out in the afternoon.

Late Pick-up Policy

If your child is picked up after dismissal time for the normal camp day (8:30am-3:30pm) or after the pick-up time for the After Care Program (5:30pm), and has not been signed up for extended care hours, you will be charged $1.00 for each minute after their dismissal time.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons will be taught by Red Cross certified instructors and will take place over a three week period from June 25 through July 12. Register in advance at the Pines! Lesson schedules will be determined after registration ends.
