January Council Minutes
Tilton-Northfield Recreation Council Board Meeting Minutes January 23, 2008
Those present: Cindy Beaulieu, Melissa D’Abbraccio, Chris Hampe, Dorene Tilton, Rose-Marie Welch, Katie Duffey, Brittni Stewart, Roland Seymour, Eilene Wellington
Meeting called to order.
The minutes of the October and November monthly meetings were accepted.
Financial Report:
Roland distributed the financial report which was accepted.
Recreation Director's Report:
-Brittni will work on some improvements to skating
-Pizza Hut cards went out to ACB participants with a pizza party incentive
-Letters are going out for the Easter Breakfast donations
Executive Director's Report:
-Rental fee has been increased to $110 for 3 hours
-Katie has submitted a grant application to Franklin Savings Bank
-Keyspan conducted an audit. More insulation is needed in the roof to help with ice build up resulting in leaks. This will be submitted to PSNH sometime around June
-The roof has been leaking. A tarp has been put on the roof which has helped. Four or five roofing companies have submitted quotes
-The Fire Alarm system needs to be inspected at approximately $400. Rose will check with Bryan Mango for a quote.
-Katie is working with the Huckins’ on a program for Aja to continue attending the Pines
-We will not be looking into new computers until around May
-Jen Coreau is working on revamping the website as part of an internship
-Texas Hold ‘Em dates are Feb 25 and April 14
-Katie has attained a credit card with a $3000 limit. It will be treated as petty cash and will be line itemed
-The Town has requested information for the Town Report
-Bob broke a rib from a fall on the ice. He won’t be back until at least the first of the month. Frank Shepherd has been doing Bob’s duties
-Brittni had planned a vacation in March , so she will be off for a week
-Katie will be attending a grant seminar next week
-The plumbing has been fixed. Brittni’s dad helped .
-Katie would like to work on a plan for future building expansion
-A letter was sent to Nintendo for a Wii tournament
-The Summer Program will have some fee schedule changes to help parents budget the cost
-Letters have gone out to restaurants for the Senior Lunch Program
President's Report:
-Eilene Wellington has submitted a letter of intent.

VOTED:to appoint Eilene Wellington as a member of the Council
Dave Tryon has requested a leave of absence due to health issues.
